Computer Labs

Service Description

At the Binghamton University Public Computing Labs, you will find a variety of computing software and hardware. The main public computing areas are the Information Commons, Academic A areas and Science Library. There are also a number of smaller public computing areas on campus. The main public computing sites and additional satellite areas offer a wide selection of locations in which to work.

All computers in the labs  require your Binghamton Username and Password to log in. Once you've logged in, you will be able to connect to your network storage accounts (Google, UShare, etc.).

For scheduling of each lab, go to the link below and then click on BThere. To see if there are stations available click on the LiveMaps for that lab area. You can also click on the Software Availability to see current software that is installed in your chosen lab area as well. You can also download the LabFind app which is similar to LiveMaps.

The below links go to the Directory of all campus Computing Labs powered by ITS. Please take note, the capacity figures and workstation availability for each lab has changed due to social distancing, see LIVEMAPS for open work stations.

Looking for a specific application or need to know what applications are installed in a specific location? Use our Public Lab Software Availability Search before making a request to install software. Toggle filter by location to search by location.
