Overview
Mac Users can experience issues with using VMWare and not being able to have it recognize keyboard or mouse inputs. This is because VMWare needs to be granted permissions in input monitoring.
This is found by going to System preferences. Then choosing Security & Privacy. Scroll down to Input Monitoring and click on it. Now to make changes click on the lock in the lower left hand side of the page. You can now put a check mark in the VMWare box to give it rights.
After VMWare is checked, please re launch the VMWare application and it will now allow you to use the Macs Mouse and Keyboard.
