How do I access BingView?

Overview

BingView is Binghamton University's Virtual Desktop Environment that provides access to specialized applications on and off-campus.

 

To access BingView follow the steps below:

  1. Go to https://bingview.binghamton.edu

  2. Select "Install VMware Horizon Client"

  3. Select View Download Components across from the Omnissa Horizon Clients option

    1. Select​ the download link for the device you wish to install the application on​​​​​​

The application will look like one of the following:

  1. Open Omnissa Horizon Client and enter bingview.binghamton.edu for the Server Name

  2. If not selected, select "BU" for the Domain.

  3. Use your Binghamton University UserID, your Bing OTP (first) and then  your Password to access BingView and to log into the virtual machine.

  1. Select the Virtual Desktop that you want to access.
