OneDrive - Download OneDrive Data

Overview

This article provides instructions for a Binghamton University (BU) individual to download folders or files that they've saved to a BU Microsoft OneDrive account. This is useful if you'd like to transfer OneDrive data to another location. 
 

Download OneDrive Data

These steps should allow anyone with a currently-active BU domain account to log in to OneDrive, select folders/files they'd like to download, and then download a .zip file containing those items.

1. Visit the Microsoft OneDrive sign in website at:
   
   https://onedrive.live.com/about/en-us/signin/
   
    
2. Sign in with your Bmail address and password.
   
   
   
   If you're asked to "Stay signed in?" make any selections you prefer (this does not impact downloading data).
   
   
   
    
3. To the left of any folder or file you’d like to download, check the checkbox

4. After you’ve selected everything you’d like to download, then you can click the “Download” button towards the top of the page
