Service Description
The ITS Information Security (Info Sec) Office employs a variety of incident response and investigation techniques and tools to identify the impact and cause(s) of security incidents to provide mitigation recommendations, and where possible, assist with incident recovery for members of the Binghamton University community.
Info Sec staff members utilize third-party services, data, and alerts along with direct testimonials from the impacted individual(s) and their affiliates to gain an understanding of, and recover from, varying levels of security incidents.
