To create a Turnitin PeerMark assignment
- Click into Content within your course in Brightspace
- Click into the module where you want the PeerMark assignment to appear for students.
- Click the Existing Activities button
- Choose Turnitin PeerMark

Set up the paper submission details. Be sure to check off "Enable Peermark".
NOTE: If this is a draft assignment be sure to exclude this paper's submission to Turnitin's paper repository. This is found under "Optional Settings". You can check this paper against that repository but don't submit it to the repository. If it is submitted to Turnitin's student paper reposiroty then the next draft will be 100% plagarised. When you create the Final Draft's assignment then set that one to go into Turnitin's student paper repository. There is now an institutional repository that you can choose add that paper to.

After clicking Submit after naming the Turnitin paper assignment you are brought back to your course's content module with the assignment now showing in the module.
Click on that assignment to set up the PeerMark side of the assignment. See below.

Drop down the PeerMark menu and choose Setup.

Here you will set up the PeerMark side of this assignment. On this page you can set the dates, set how many papers each student is reviewing (this is in the Additional Settings area), create questions for the reviewers to answer about the paper they are reviewing and lastly under Distribution you could pair the author of the paper with a specific student reviewer.

Here are the Additional Settings Options.

After setting up the options for the PeerMark side of the assignment click on Save & Continue. NOTE: there is a "Create PeerMark Assignment button. Each time it is clicked a new assignment is created. I think this only needs to be used to create a new one. You don't need to click it when creating the first one.
