Overview
The personal email on file with the University is what allows students to receive a security code when claiming their account, resetting their password, or configuring their 2FA tokens. Without a reachable email address, students can experience issues with the ITS password portal. This page explains how a student can update their personal email on file with the University.
Updating Your Personal Email via BU Brain
- Go to my.binghamton.edu
- Click BU Brain on the top ribbon
- Select the My Information tab
- Select Update Email Addresses in the middle of the screen
- Select the email address under the Admissions Personal Email section
- In the email field, provide the updated email address
- Select Submit
