Overview
Bushare is available to faculty and staff to store their work related documents and files. Many of us have been saving files to our drives for years, and even decades. When was the last time you reviewed the files you had in your drive? Do you need that presentation you made in 2010? How about that student employee schedule from 2020? Did you use your drive to store things to cleanup later? or to backup files when you got a new computer?
Bushare storage is not unlimited, and it is not free. It is not meant for archiving files, it is a place to store files you are working on while you are working at Binghamton University. It is recommended that one periodically reviews the files stored on their drives, and deletes unnecessary or extra copies of files.
*Please make sure to follow all Binghamton University and SUNY Record Retention Guidelines.
