Overview
Did you know you can use your phone to scan any book or document(s)? Follow the instructions based on your phone model on how to do so.
Instructions
iPhone
- Open the Files app

- Tap the options menu in the upper-right corner

- Select Scan Documents

- Point your camera at the document to capture it automatically or manually.
- You can scan more than one document to add to your pdf
- Tap the blue checkmark to store the file as a PDF

Android
- Open the Google Drive App.

- Tap the Camera or Plus icon at the bottom right. Then select Scan
- You will get a prompt to allow the app permission to use your camera for pictures and videos

- Point your camera at the document to capture it automatically.
- If you want to capture manually, tap either the Manual option or the square in the bottom-right corner (Depending on Android model)

- Adjust the crop area or filters for your captured image. You can also scan more than one document to add to your pdf.

- Tap Save to upload your scanned document(s) to your Drive
