Turning on Cross-Site Tracking and Allowing Site Cookies in Safari

Overview

Having issues logging into the Central Authentication Service (CAS) on Safari with your One-Time Password? Issues with accessing other systems in Brightspace (Like Panopto, Gradescope, etc...)? You most likely just need to turn on cross-site tracking and allow all cookies in your Safari settings.

This page walks you through on how you can change your Safari setting to enable cross-tracking and allow all site cookies.

Turning on Cross-Site Tracking

  1. Open Safari
  2. Select Safari in the upper-left corner of the screen
  3. Select Settings

  1. Select the Privacy tab on the top of the menu box
  2. Uncheck the box next to the Website Tracking option

Allowing All Site Cookies 

  1. From the Privacy Settings menu, click Advanced Settings

  1. Verify that the box for Block All Cookies is unchecked
