Overview

An opt-in Google email group available to Binghamton email accounts that receives ITS System Status notifications.

Stay Informed with ITS System Status Notifications

To stay on top of Binghamton University technology-related communications about outages and service-impacting events you can subscribe to receive system status alerts via email.

The ITS Alerts Google Group emails are sent when service outages begin and end, as well as when updates are available during an ongoing incident.

Alternatively, you can also check the ITS System Status Dashboard for real-time updates.
 

How to Subscribe

Email system status notifications are only available to @binghamton.edu email accounts. 

•  Join by direct link:

  • Go to https://groups.google.com/a/binghamton.edu/g/itsalerts

  • You will need to log in with your Binghamton email address.

• Join by contacting the owner:

  • Send an email to itsalerts+owner@binghamton.edu.

After you join you will begin receiving alerts from the email: itsalerts@binghamton.edu. 

How to Unsubscribe

•  Leave by going to: https://groups.google.com

  • You will need to log in with your Binghamton email address.

• Locate ITS Alerts, and click the icon to  “Leave group.” 

• Leave by clicking the unsubscribe link at the bottom of one of the group messages.

• Leave by contacting the owner:

  • Send an email to itsalerts+owner@binghamton.edu.

What you'll receive

Notification emails from this group will include:

• New Outage reports
• Outage status updates
• Outage Resolution notices
